HMRC and the way taxation is implemented and collected is a total shambles and should be replaced with immediate effect. The country would be better off as a whole without all of the red-tape and overly complicated rules that are currently in place, and that seem to become more convoluted year by year. Replacing the current rules to make it easier for us as tax payers too understand would only serve to help everyone; it would surely ease the burden on HMRC workload and make it much easier for everyone else?
